MIT Sloan launched its Master of Finance (MFin) as a direct response to demand in the financial industry. This rigorous, 1-year program combines in-depth study of quantitative techniques with practical, hands-on business problem solving.

pic-welcomeBeyond the traditional synergies among economics, finance and accounting, MIT Sloan’s MFin program exploits the intellectual ties between finance and mathematics, statistics, operations research, computer science and engineering. These, combined with a high level of flexibility and a wide range of elective courses — both at MIT Sloan and other MIT departments — allows you to tailor your MFin experience to your specific area of interest and career goals.

"Over the years, MIT has produced many leaders in the financial industry. As the field progresses, there is a growing demand for students and professionals with rigorous finance training who also can master specialized technologies. This program is a response to the growing demand in the industry."

Mizuho Financial Group Professor
